FAQ
What printing methods do you use?
D&OP specialises in hand-pulled screen printing. It’s ideal for bold, long-lasting prints and works best for solid colours, logos, text, and illustrative designs. Each colour is printed separately using its own screen.
What garments do you print on?
D&OP primarily prints on t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, tote bags, and workwear. If you’re unsure what to go for, we’re happy to recommend options based on your budget and intended use.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Yes. Our minimum order numbers are specified on the individual product pages.
How much does screen printing cost?
Pricing depends on:
- Number of garments
- Number of ink colours/screens
- Print size and placement
- Garment type
We price transparently and will always provide a quote before starting. If you have a budget in mind, let us know and we’ll suggest the best option within it.
How long is your turnaround time?
Our standard turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks from artwork approval and payment. Larger orders or busy periods may take slightly longer. If you have a deadline, please let us know early and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.
Do you offer rush orders?
Sometimes, depending on workload. Rush orders will incur an additional rush fee. Please get in touch before ordering if you’re working to a tight deadline.
What file format do you need for artwork?
Vector files are best (AI, EPS, or PDF). High-resolution PNGs can also work. If you’re unsure whether your artwork is suitable, send it over and we’ll check it for free.
Can you help with artwork or design?
Yes. We offer basic artwork setup and print-ready adjustments. More involved design work is available for an additional fee. If you already have an idea but need help refining it, just ask via the contact page.
How many colours can you print?
We can print multiple colours, with a maximum of 4.
Simpler designs are usually more cost-effective. Each colour requires a separate screen, which affects pricing. We’re happy to advise on colour reductions if needed.
Where can you print on a garment?
Common placements include chest, back, sleeve, inside neck and pocket prints. If you have something specific in mind, let us know and we’ll confirm what’s possible.
Will the print last?
Yes. When properly cared for, screen prints are extremely durable. We recommend washing garments inside out at 30°C and avoiding tumble drying to maximise longevity.
Do you offer samples?
Samples can be arranged for a fee, which would entirely depend on the set up of the job.
Alternatively you can order some of the sample D&OP merch from the 'shop'.
Do you ship orders?
Yes, we ship across the UK with 24hr tracked shipping. Local collection may also be available depending on your location.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is required before production begins. We accept all major payment options.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Once screens are made or printing has started, changes or cancellations may not be possible. Please double-check all details at the proof stage.
How do I place an order?
